Colby Turner is the owner and creator of C Jack’s Braided Tack. He grew up in the Texas Hill Country riding horses & learning to rope at a young age. He would later high school & college rodeo in the Southwest Region for Cisco College. During his first semester,  his mom bought a small roll of Cajun Pull Line, (the flat polyester webbing) because he had been thinking of making halters & lead ropes. Christmas break led him to making 2 lead ropes at his childhood home. Next was a collar & leash for his Jack Russell dog.  He continued to make more lead ropes, dog collars, and leashes throughout the summer of 2019 as time allowed. Eventually leading him to consider turning his hobby into a business. The first halters were for his & his family's horses figuring out the best fit. This led to selling on Instagram & Facebook. The 2019 Christmas break, Colby & his dad worked together to make a custom leather noseband for him to braid a halter for. Soon after, he received an order for 5 customs and knew something bigger was to come and was off to the races! Starting off in a tiny house where he lived & worked,  to now with the amazing support customers and family he has a shop in Rising Star, Texas! Everything is handmade to the highest quality.
